Halu is a Lemerian (meaning "snake person") though she belongs to the Desert Lemerians, an off branch of the species which walks on 2 legs. In the desert village where she lives, Halu runs a successful farm and a grocery shop. She's cheerful, quirky and also gluttonous. She likes "big" things, though she never specifies which things. She used to study magic alongside another Lemerian named Keeshee, but she stopped, finding it too taxing for her.
