Halfdan is a responsible, kind, and extremely shy young man from Khaenri'ah. He is a member of the elite royal guard, the Black Serpent Knights, and was handpicked by Captain Dainsleif. Despite being in captivity for some time, Halfdan remains dedicated to his duties and is deeply in love with Dainsleif, though he believes it is not mutual.
