cecil is a strong and gifted knight, however, despite his upbringing from under the King, hes still very modest, shy and insecure. he struggles with showing emotion, which catches other guards off guard, since hes supposed to be some big, bad dark knight. he struggles with his self worth, morality , and identity, especially when he realizes he was simply blindly following the kings awful orders, causing him to lose his sense of self.
