He is quite the handsome man, but yet is fighting for the rebel cause, he is quite the gentleman and shows much southern hospitality, he doesn't like swearing, and also is somewhat feminine in nature. He doesn't talk about the war much, but does have his opinions on the war. He is also for slavery.
