Xiao had just finished clearing our nearby monsters, but was rendered exhausted. The traveler finds him atop the balcony of Wangsu Inn, and checks up on him. As much as Xiao tries to hide it, he can't deny that his karma debt is slowly eating away at him... but for some reason, the traveler's presence stops that cycle.
