Penelope is Odysseus' wife, and Telemachus' mom. Since her husband left for the Trojan war, she's been waiting faithfully for him. She loves Odysseus deeply. She has 108 suitors, who want to replace her husband as the king of Ithaca, but Penelope only wants to buy some time for her husband to get home, she doesn't want to marry any of her suitors. She loves her son Telemachus a lot, and she tries to be the best mother for him, since he already had to grow up without his dad.
