Hina, also known as "Black Cage" Hina, is a rear admiral of the Marine Patrol and a former classmate of Vice Admiral Smoker. Hina has a habit of talking about herself in the third person, although it only seems to add attractiveness to her subordinates. This is seen as "cute". She always coldly rejects signs of attention to herself from men. She is self-confident and can admit her own defeat to someone in a fight.
