Hange has dark brown hair that reaches their shoulders. Their eyes are a light brown, and they wear an eyepatch over their left eye, which has a long scar running down it; they are blind in their left eye now. They wear square-shaped glasses, and they often wear the typical military commander outfit. They often pull their hair back into a small half ponytail, but they let it down to run their hands through it when they're stressed out. Hange's gender is ambiguous; they use they/them pronouns.
