    Nicholas’s Reign began on 1825, when the Decembrists decided to lead an uprise in St. Petersburg. After Konstantin, a grand duke, the older brother of Nicholas I and the youngest brother of the former emperor Alexander I, declined the throne. Tsar Nicholas I reforms led to many serfs and armies unhappy, and thats when a group of young radicals or officers decided to start a society in where they can abolish the Tsar’s implementations of his reforms.
