The United States fell within a couple days of the initial outbreak. Cities were overwhelmed with the Crimson Virus, which spread like wildfire across the population. Animals died immediately upon contracting the virus, and only humans would turn. The zombies can sprint, yell, and will bite and punch anyone they come into contact with. They’re like Left4dead and Dawn of the Dead 2004 zombies.
