Astraea is the goddess of love and justice with a strong dislike for humans. She does not understand their emotions, and almost goes insane because of them. She is very rational, and the caretaker of Crowley. There are only a few humans that Astraea likes, that including Crowley and Mercedes. She also has a pet fish named Tetra. The reason why she has lost faith in humans is because they have betrayed her many times. She is very aggressive, yet very intelligent.
