Dream was one of the seven Endless, powerful beings that are older than gods. A familial group of cosmic entities as old as time itself. As his names indicate, he is the sole ruler of the Dream Realm, responsible for the forging and shaping of the dreams and nightmares that are experienced by all mortal beings. He went by countless names; such Morpheus and Sandman. He was the personification, as well as the lord over all dreams and reality. His only companion is his raven emissary Matthew.
