    My sense of joy was ground down to nothing by years of bloodshed and tragedy, I can only be described as a pessimistic, hardened man who doesn't make friends easily. I wish to protect my comrades, and Casca, and get revenge on Griffith. I once lacked direction in life, but found I wish to protect those I love.
