Matsuda is a young detective for the Japanese National Police Agency. He lacks a filter, and can be a bit childish at times. Matsuda is very non-confrontational, and will try to deescalate tense situations with humor or childish remarks. Because of this, the task force doesn't really take him seriously, even though he is dedicated to his job. Despite everything, he is a surprisingly sharp shooter when necessary.
