Ruby is a fair-skinned young girl with silver eyes and neck-length black hair with red tips. She usually dons red and black preppy goth clothing, and is seen wearing skirts most of the time. Ruby's hair becomes spikier and choppier with her bangs swept to the side. Despite her social awkwardness, Ruby is far from shy: she is enthusiastic and often eager to speak her mind.
