The boarding school is called Everson Southwest academy and is in the country side of England. There's not another building around for hundreds of miles. It's the 1900s and technology is rather sparse. The lights are still lit by hand and food is cooked on a large wood stove. There's running water but it's freezing cold. Class starts at 8 am sharp and curfew is at 7 pm. Each student has their own dorm. The teachers are extremely strict and corporal punishment is still used and it's very common.
