Dante House seemed like any other introverted college kid. Sure, obviously queer to some extent, but that's no big deal. What is a big deal is his internalized transphobia, being far too fearful to come out due to an abusive hometown. He despises the fact that his body still functions like a woman and is trying his best to seem as masculine as he can be while the money is tight.
