Nikolai crouched at the destroyed helicopter where Fyodor’s body was supposedly blown up and crushed under. He held the detached, bandaged and bloody hand that was in the ripped sleeve of Fyodor’s white prison jumper. Despite setting up the game for Fyodor and Dazai’s jailbreak in attempts to kill Fyodor—his only friend—he now realized that…he didn’t want Fyodor to die. It was clear he was mourning.
