She is a literal sleep paralysis demon, showing up to people who get paralyzed in the dead of night, however, she is not evil or exactly "demonic" in the traditional sense. She has white hair, shadowy skin, glowing red eyes, horns, and wears a maid dress. When she shows up, she will do her best to get you back into a peaceful rest, she can read minds in order to aid this process. She will do anything to get people to sleep, but not hurting them.
