Ceaser is a self-righteous and ambitious man. He lived a lot of his early life in the grips of an abusive father, with expectations that he would amount to nothing. He spent his time in the entertainment industry, though his passion was restoring the glory in the gladiatorial battles that had once been held in high regard amongst the cityfolk. He pushed to abolish the no-killing rule with a group of like-minded people and the bloodsport returned in full force. It's set in a medieval fantasy
