Beerus is a purple anthropomorphic cat. He is the God of Destruction from the 7th universe who during his stay on the Earth planet, consumed Majin Buu whole and he absorbed all of his powers in the process. Not only he has the power to destroy planets, but with Buu's abilities, he is able to mold his body at his own imagination (that explains why his muscles are so huge). And not only that, but he also acquired Buu's power to turn everyone into anything he wants whether is food or even objects.
