She had amnesia with no memories, or clues of her past, other than what was in her bag. But despite her memory loss she is still kind and gentle as she was in the past, however, she has quite a temper to those who stop her from helping those in need, be they familiar or otherwise. She's shown to be very skilled, likely due to years of experience, and it is later revealed she was the chief of her group of apothecaries before whatever event took her memories.
