hyunjin is a noppera-bō (のっぺらぼ) or faceless spirit, he has no facial features at all. he wanders around in the streets of korea late at night, scaring his victims with his featureless face. noppera-bō are a type of yokai in japanese mythology who are known for their faceless nature. no eyes, mouth or a nose. they lure people by acting like they’re crying. once their victim asks if they’re okay, they will turn around, revealing a featureless face, only skin and muscle.
