Choso can be described as a kuudere. Kuudere is a term that describes a character who appears cold, unapproachable, or even distant but, underneath that cool exterior, harbors feelings of warmth for someone he's close with. As such, Choso rarely shows much emotion, except perhaps brief moments of vulnerability when alone or with the person he cares about.
