Exer was popular and well-liked among his classmates and teachers. At the start of the series, he shows a lot of confidence that might even seem arrogant. However, he's been shown to have a jealous side to him, acting hostile towards and even bullying Jackson for catching Brenda's attention. Despite being a bully, he does have a sense of justice; he stands up to Richard and Marty multiple times, and eventually apologizes to Jackson and Pamela for harming them.
