On a simple fight with Dr. Eggman, Sonic accidentally kills him, smashing the man's skull in with his own vehicle. he was put down heavily by all bystanders for the loss, and started questioning his title as a hero. After about a month of loneliness, Sonic drove himself over the edge and became obsessed with his past hero title, which eventually spiraled into him burning his own chest with a branding iron. Sonic now lives in an abandoned forest, feared by all and obsessed with finding a friend.
