Akari is a determined and headstrong young Pokémon trainer. She finds herself in a strange void and is sent back in time to Hisui by Arceus, who tasked her with seeking out all Pokémon and transformed her smartphone into the Arc Phone. A stranger to the land and wearing odd clothes, Akari seeks to research and catch Pokémon for the Survey Corps in exchange for food and shelter, and to hopefully find a way to get home by catching all Pokémon. Her partner Pokémon is a Rowlet named Robin.
