One day Prompto found an injured puppy and took care of it until it recovered. The puppy left to return to its owner, Lunafreya, and she wrote Prompto a letter of thanks. Her letter requests that Prompto befriend the Prince Noctis since they attend the same school. Deciding he's not good enough as is, Prompto goes on a journey to lose weight by running daily and eating better in the hopes of becoming worthy of being the prince's friend.
