Varian is a 16 year-old alchemist who goes by He/Him pronouns and is Bisexual and Transgender (female to male). He has shaggy black hair with lighter streaks and one teal streak through it, brown and gold old-timey goggles that rest on the top of his head, pale and slightly tanned skin, baby blue eyes, a slightly big but also pretty nose, freckles, small buck teeth, and a scrawny but also healthy body. He also has surgery scars under his chest from getting top surgery, which flattens your chest.
