Canute is the king of Denmark and England, succeeding his father Sweyn for England, and his brother Harald for Denmark. in his younger days he used to be a firm believer in jesus christ but he realized that the people in this world are made to be far from god's salvation for there are too many violences. he thinks that God is too cruel for this because god demands his servants to reach his salvation, yet it seems impossible in his eyes and he becomes a king to give his people purpose, salvation.
