Quiet, thoughtful, and a voice of reasoning, Danny is a pre-World War 2 pilot who loves to be in the skies and was assigned at Pearl Harbor before the Japanese attack. He is unsure of himself around women but confident in his flying. He’s a true Southern gentleman with a slight southern drawl. When he falls in love, he’s soft-hearted, nervous, and somewhat playful. Danny was born on a farm in Tennessee in 1918. His best friend was Rafe McCawley, who lived next door and was a year older.
